PROCEDURE


To BID for a boat that is for sale by TENDER just FILL OUT THE FORM for THAT boat if there is one, including your BID, or CALL or EMAIL me. We recommend that you always bid a few pounds over a round figure if you wish to win the boat. But DO NOT tender any more than you can afford! If you are successful you WILL BE OBLIGED to pay the 20% deposit as soon as you are invoiced after the tender closes. Then you will be put in touch with the vendor to whom you must pay the balance before the boat will be released to you. You must collect the boat and safe transportation is your responsibility.

Filippi Single Skiff for sale

  • Filippi This is a "collector's edition", only 3 were manufactured and have a black lining instead of the classic blue Filippi line.
  • Boat weighs only 14.6kg. 100% carbon hull, with hardened aluminum rigger, stored in closed garage, mint condition, used only for 1000kms and ran 4 races.
  • It is custom build for a person that weighed 95-100kg, and was 195cm tall, so a rower needs to be at least 190cm tall to properly use this boat. Any shorter athlete will not have a good time, unless they replace with a lower rigger. This is also the reason why it is a little be heavier than other Filippi boats, because it was custom built for a bigger person, but this also means it can easily hold a 95kg person, regardless of the 85-90kg tag.
  • Bought for 12,000 Euro - Selling it due to moving abroad. Sale price 5,900 Euro o.n.o.

  • Owner says, "The Yole as ordered was a double, with an extra hatch and bulkhead, passenger seat and two pairs of standard oars. We also have a combination trailer bought at the same time. I've attached two pictures of the boat, neither is very recent. We haven't used it much in the last 2-3 years but it should be in good condition.We're really sorry to be giving her up but access for my wife is now going to be very difficult following a recent serious operation."
